About Us
Arnold was born August 9, 1969 in Bowling Green, Ohio. ChrisAnne was born on August 4, 1968, the very day Arnold’s parents were married.
We met in college at Bowling Green State University. ChrisAnne accepted Christ through the ministry of a campus Christian fellowship on the same night Arnold re-dedicated his life to Christ. As you can see, we like to do things together. We were married on May 18, 1991 in Prout Chapel at Bowling Green State University, just one week after ChrisAnne graduated.
Rachael came along just shy of one year later on May 5, 1992. Caleb joined our family on August 15, 1994. We also have 2 dogs: Zeke and Zippo. We enjoy spending time together doing everything from sports to board games to movies.
We currently live in Bedford, PA where Rachael is a senior and Caleb a sophomore at Snake Spring Valley Christian Academy where ChrisAnne teaches music. We attend Pennwood Bible Church.
We are honored that our kids are already active in ministry. Caleb works behind the scenes on many projects and is serving through Bedford County Biblical Children’s Ministry. Rachael assists in Gopher Buddies and is serving with Word of Life Portugal this summer.
Our Testimony
I grew up in rural Northwestern Ohio in a Christian home. I came to know the Lord as a child during VBS. I fully surrendered myself to the Lord in 1989 while in college, and God gave me a strong desire to reach and teach teenagers for Christ.
My desire led me to become involved with the Word of Life Club in our church. I was involved in teaching and discipling many teenagers through this active WOL teen club. God also allowed me to become involved in working with other leaders as well.
ChrisAnne received the Lord as her personal Savior in October of 1989. God showed her it was only through a relationship with Christ that the hole in her heart could be filled.
God joined ChrisAnne and I in marriage in May 1991. Knowing my desire to work in teen ministry, and wanting to support me, ChrisAnne attended WOL with me. At that first meeting, God grabbed her heart to minister to teenagers, and we have served together ever since.
We both knew God wanted us in full time ministry, so in the fall of 1999 we moved our family to Schroon Lake, New York so I could attend the Word of Life Bible Institute. While there, God confirmed my desire to join Word of Life full time as an Area Missionary.
We have two beautiful children who have both accepted Christ as their Savior. Rachael is seventeen and in her senior year of high school. Caleb is fifteen and in the tenth grade. Rachael and Caleb both enjoy being involved in the ministry.
It is our desire as a family to assist local churches in developing their own dynamic youth ministries. America’s hurting youth need to know the love of Christ; we need to reach them for our Lord. Only He can fill their needs and ease their hurt. Teens are our future church leaders, missionaries, politicians, professionals, and parents. Many Americans tend to think of only “foreign countries” as the mission field, but there is an important field right here in the United States as shown by recent tragic events. It is our desire to be part of God’s harvest of this field.
